Photocell 2000 IP54 outdoor dusk til dawn sensor finished in white.
The Nightmatic photocell sensor detects ambient brightness, automatically switching connected lights "ON" when light levels fall to the twilight threshold and "OFF" again at dawn, the twilight threshold can be adjusted from 2 to 30 lux.
Maximum load 1000w (incandescent) max load 500w (low energy).

Product Questions
Q1: How easy is it to fit this unit
A1: If you are replacing an existing switch then it should be very easy for somebody with basic electrical knowledge, for an electrician is will be no problem, even if it's part of a new install. However, we always recommend the use of a qualified electrician for all electrical installations.
Q2: Can this be overridden by the light switch? So it would come on whilst we are out, But if we switch the light off when we went to bed, It would all go out? Just wouldn't want it on overnight.
A2: Unfortunately not as that defeats the object of a dusk till dawn sensor. By the sounds of it you require a light fitting with a PIR sensor with a manual override feature.
Q3: Does this switch have a minimum load requirement? Would it work with a 5 watt led light?
A3: The Fairmont 2000 has no minimum load
