Product Questions
Q1: Could i use this as a semi-flush ceiling light in a tiny porch?(ie would be wired into the mains, Not just plugged into a plug.) would i need a driver?
A1: Technically, yes, it is possible to wire this in to your lighting circuit and no driver is required. However, if you are considering using this outside then please be aware that it is not something we can recommend as this originally intended for use outdoors, it's also worth nothing that it's not IP rated.
Q2: Could you please let me know what plug is fitted on this unit and the length of the lead from plug to light unit
A2: The light comes with a 3 pin plug adapter and the length of the cable is around 1708mm
Q3: Hi, Does the light come with lamps included? Jeff
A3: The LED bulbs are built into this item
Q4: Can you link these light's up to run in series? I'm looking to link three sets up for a long run of cabinets but only have one power source available.
A4: Yes you can link up to 3 fittings together. Each product is supplied with a 200mm link lead.
Q5: Is this item suitable for mounting above a work surface where a kettle is used?
A5: No, I would not suggest that as it is only IP20 rated. You would need an IP65 rated product.
Q6: Are the leds replaceable, If so what type of led
A6: This runs with built in LEDs so the unit is not replaceable unfortunately. If an item on the website says 'runs with' it normally means it has built in LEDs, if it says 'supplied with' or 'requires' it will mean the fitting runs with replaceable bulbs.
Q7: What is the life span of built in leds
A7: The life span is approximately 25,000 hours.
Q8: Are the lights dimmable? I have the dimmable switch but they need to be dimmable as well.
A8: These are not suitable for dimming
