Christmas and New Year 2016

UPDATE: On Friday 30th December 2016 we will open our warehouse to process and dispatch any orders that can be supplied from stock, full and concise stock information is displayed on all of our product pages and stock is allocated at the point of ordering. Our manufacturers remain closed during this period, so any orders that require items to be ordered in will not be fully processed until Tuesday 3rd January 2017. All customers will be notified via email of the dispatch of their orders in the normal way. Our showroom and offices will not be open on Friday 30th December 2016.

Our opening times this year are quite simple. Our final day for processing orders will be Wednesday 21st December 2016 and we will reopen on Tuesday 3rd January 2017. Whilst orders may be processed during this period, to ensure there is no backlog upon our return, our offices and showroom will remain closed. Also, due to the fact that none of our manufacturers will be open during this period, our warehouse will also be closed (Apart from Friday 30th December 2016), but will be open for deliveries and the dispatching of orders as normal on Tuesday 3rd January 2017.

2016 Christmas Message.

As we approach the end of 2016, which has for several reasons been very eventful. We have had several high profile celebrity deaths, big political events such as Brexit and the presidential elections in the United States to name but a few.

Well, it's fair to say that 2016 has been a hugely eventful year for The Lighting Superstore. We have experienced some of the largest growth we have seen since we first launched this website 15 years ago and several internal records have been broken this year. Despite this surge in web traffic and customer orders, we have managed to maintain our high levels of customer service, this is a claim that is backed up by the overwhelming amount of positive feedback we have received from our customers this year and the amount of repeat orders from existing customers reinforces this even further.

While we do have extremely accurate, efficient and reliable systems in place to ensure our stock is maintained well and orders are processed effectively, more important than this is we have an amazing team behind the scenes that operate these systems and ensure our customers get the very best service available. Each year every single member of The Lighting Superstore team works very hard to ensure service levels are never compromised, regardless of how many orders, enquires or parcels they have to process and this year is certainly no exception.

Finally, We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our customers and website visitors a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.
