Q1: I just need to confirm that this is dimmable via the input current and not via an additional control
A1: That is correct.
Q2: Can i run four 20w halogen bulbs with this transformer - i don't need the dimmable feature, Does this matter?
A2: You could run as many as five 20w halogen bulbs with the YT105 and the fact that you won't be using the dimming facility makes no difference, it will work just fine.
Q3: Will this transformer light eight 12volt 10 watt leds. Does the cover come off to enable connection of external circuits?
A3: You will have no issues with a 12v load of 80w and the covers do unscrew giving access to the screw terminals.
Q4: Will this run a 12v l/v garden lighting system, Kind regards
A4: As long as it doesn't exceed 150 watts then it should work fine.
