A1: It can, it has an adjustable ambient light setting, so you can set how light/dark it is before the sensor starts working. This is done with a turning dial on the back of the sensor

Salde IP65 rated outdoor microwave sensor accessory.
This additional attachment to the Salde range is made from plastic and has a matt black finish, it is also adjustable and can be tilted and moved left to right.
The microwave sensor has a detection angle of 360 ° and a detection range of 3 - 10 metres, the time is adjustable from 10 sec - 15 minutes.
This accessory simply pushes into the bottom of the Salde floodlight and can only be used in conjunction with the Salde floodlight range.
