Dixon silver finish IP44 exterior security downlighting LED wall light.
An aluminium outdoor downlighter with a built-in intelligent high-frequency sensor which has been integrated behind the diffuser of the LED light, this fitting runs with a 7.5-watt warm white (3000 kelvin) LED with a 466-lumen output.
The sensor has an angle of coverage of 160° and a reach of 2-5 meters maximum, it has a time setting of 5 sec - 15 min with a response brightness of 2-2000 lux, the sensor also has a basic brightness of 10% meaning it can be set to stay on at a low light level until it senses movement which then puts it to full brightness.
There is also a manual override feature which allows the LED to stay on for up to 4 hours at full brightness when used with a mains switch.
This is part of the Dixon Sensor Range.

Product Questions
Q1: Does this fitting include a dusk to dawn sensor, I.e. Can it be completely off during daylight hours with automatic start-up at a chosen light level?
A1: This fitting is not called dusk till dawn, but does have a similar function. It has a basic brightness level meaning it can be set to stay on at a low light level, and then when movement is detected the light will light to full brightness. The light will automatically switch off during daylight hours
Q2: The installation instructions read, "to obtain the specified reach of 5m, The sensor should be installed at a height of approx. 2m". I would like to install at a height of 3m. What would be the effect of increasing the mounting height to 3m?
A2: It could shorten the detection range to less than 5m
