This lamp has a circular base with a hand-adjustable body with a disc-shaped light head, the top of the light head has a small frosted glass panel and the bottom has a clear glass panel.

Q1: I have two of these 656 range touch lamps but one has now given up - it is probably more than ten years old! Can you tell me if they still have three light levels and also i am confused about your statement on the g9 lamp holder, Does this mean they come without a bulb or will another type of bulb fit ? I would like to proceed further but would like your comments first.
A1: Yes these still have the three light levels, as for the G9 this means as from now suppliers are not supplying halogen bulbs with their products and you would need to purchase a bulb for the light, some old stock may still have bulbs in but we recommend buying one anyway even if it ends up being a spare
Q2: Can i use a dimmable led bulb in this lamp?
A2: We don't recommend using a dimmable LED bulb in touch lamps as they don't always work correctly
