Product Questions
Q1: Hi,
i just wanted to know how bright these were and how many i would need to illuminate a garden measuring approximately 4 x 5 metres.
A1: To work out the rough equivalent old style wattage, we divide the lumen by 10. This is very rough but will give you an idea of the brightness of the light emitted. As for how many you need that all depends on how bright you would like your garden illuminated.
Q2: Is this light waterproof ? Would it be suitable to use by plugging into an extension lead from a point in our shed? We need to have a light that points out into the street. Is the light easy to fix? Thanks for your help -
A2: Yes this light is waterproof but cannot be submerged under water, and you can run a wire and plug to this and it is easy to install
Q3: Im looking for some discreet spotlights like these to shine onto a living wall approx 2.5m away. Are these powerful enough to illuminate that?
A3: These will give you the equivalent of about 30w of light when compared to standard incandescent light bulbs, so are quite powerful for their size. The pool of light will comfortably travel 2.5m
Q4: What is the maximum angle that the light can be rotated?
A4: This fitting has a maximum angle rotation of 180 degrees
Q5: Are the led's changeable when they blow or will the whole fitting require replacing?
A5: These are non replaceable and you would need to change the whole fitting if they fail. The supplier does say they should last 15yrs +, however this is not guaranteed.
