Branded Fluorescent T4 and T5 Tubes
Branded Fluorescent T4 and T5 Tubes
The Lighting Superstore stock a good selection of low energy T4 and T5 fluorescent tubes.
Both are mainly used in under unit kitchen lights, bathroom mirrors and various display units.
They are gradually being phased out and being replaced by LEDs, but a number of them are still available to purchase today.
It's very important that you check the measurement of your tube before you purchase a new one. T4 and T5 can vary in size depending on the manufacturer and even the same wattage tubes can vary in size so it's vital to check before ordering. If the luminaire was originally purchased via The Lighting Superstore then we can advise you on the correct replacement tubes.
We try to keep in stock the most common ones available and whilst it's impossible to keep all of them, we can often order some of the more obscure ones in for you. Please also be aware that some have plastic caps, and others just plain metal ones. Its always worth a check before you purchase to avoid disappointment.
They also have different colour temperatures from warm white to cool white. This is measured in what we call Kelvin rating. The lower the Kelvin the warmer the light. So for example a normal warm white would measure between 2700k - 3000k. Cool white would be from 3000k- 4000k. You should find the colour temperature listed on the tube along with the wattage, if you are unsure of exactly what the numbers mean, for example the colour temperature could be listed as 827 or 2700 with both equating to warm white, then please do not hesitate to contact the technical team, where they will be happy to help.
