Flush kitchen lighting is ideal if you have low ceilings or you're simply looking for a light that doesn't protrude into the room too much. Flush mount kitchen ceiling light fixtures will give you the maximum clearance, which is often needed for areas within the kitchen where you walk under the light fitting. For kitchens with a little more room in the ceiling height or for areas that you don't walk under, then semi flush kitchen light fixtures become suitable.

Even with limits set out by the ceiling height, you certainly aren't limited for choice, both in terms of style and type. Big flat LED panels, traditional domed flush fittings or heavily dressed crystal semi-flush fixtures, you have a massive range to chose from.
